Detailed Itinerary
 
Day 1
Arrive at Vienna Airport, and transfer on own to the 1st class K&K Hotel Maria Theresia. Time to relax and recover from the transatlantic flight. In the afternoon meet your driver and guide for an orientation tour of the Marathon track by bus. The tour will end at your hotel. The evening is at your leisure.
 
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up at 9:00 a.m. for a sightseeing tour of Vienna. This tour includes a visit to the baroque Schoenbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburgs. Enjoy a guided visit of the State Apartments and don’t miss to see the park surrounding the palace as well as the gardens and the Gloriette. The tour will end at the State Opera House. Using your Vienna City Card, take public transportation to the Marathon Registration Desk, where the runners will receive their registration number, the start kits and other helpful information. The afternoon is at your leisure and dinner is on your own.

Day 3
Day at leisure in Vienna. In the late afternoon join the “Kaiserschmarrn Party” at Vienna’s Town Hall. Kaiserschmarrn is a typical Austrian dessert – you will love it! Details for this event will be sent together with your confirmation of registration.

Optional sightseeing tours can be booked in advance. A list of all available tours as well as cultural events scheduled in Vienna during your stay will be sent to you together with the confirmation of registration.

No scheduled program for the day. Good luck to the runners!

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring on own for the flight back home.

K&K Hotel Maria Theresia, Vienna
1st class hotel in a historic building located in the artists' area of Vienna. Rooms have modern decor, A/C, private bathrooms, hair dryer, direct dial phone, safe, color TV, refrigerator and Internet connection. Hotel offers a bistro, coffee shop, bar, and a new Wellness Center for fitness and relaxation. The center offers sauna, solarium, steam bath and a small gym.
