Detailed Itinerary

Day 1, Monday USA - COPENHAGEN
Departure on scheduled carrier to Copenhagen (direct flights from most major U.S. gateways).

Day 2 COPENHAGEN
Arrive in the morning in Copenhagen. You will be picked-up from the airport with a private transfer to the hotel. The hotel "La Plaza" is a moderate deluxe, traditional hotel with classic ambiance, located downtown, overlooking Tivoli Gardens. All rooms have private facilities, A/C, phone, radio, color cable TV, minibar, and a hair dryer. The hotel offers a restaurant, unique library bar, and a garage. The remainder of the day is at your leisure in order to relax and recover from your trip. Overnight at the hotel "The Plaza".

Day 3 COPENHAGEN
After breakfast you will be picked-up for a guided city sightseeing tour including the Tivoli, Nyhavn, the little Mermaid, and the Amalienborg Palace. Spend the afternoon strolling through "Stroget", still among the world's longest pedestrian streets. In the evening enjoy the atmosphere of one of the many traditional seafood restaurants. Optional: Tickets to a cultural event (opera, concert). Overnight.

Day 4 COPENHAGEN
The entire day is at your leisure. Start off with a visit to one of the many museums in or around Copenhagen. For example, less than 12 miles outside Copenhagen there is the newest attraction on contemporary art, Arken, Museet for Moderne Kunst, situated right on the Waterfront. The building looks like a shipwreck on the beach. This is an exciting and non-traditional museum showing art of the 20th century. As a suggestion for the afternoon, we recommend a visit to the Zoo, which is said to be one in the best in the world in regard to layout and preservation of the species. Continue on to the world famous fairytale garden with rides, restaurants, and hundreds of thousands of flowers and lights. From the end of November to the 24th of December, the gardens dress up in Christmas attire putting everybody in a holiday spirit! By the way ... the Tivoli offers a great opportunity to taste "Carlsberg" - probably the best beer in the world! Overnight. Overnight.
