Detailed Itinerary
Depart from your gateway city on Lufthansa Airlines to Vienna.
Arrive Vienna airport where you will transfer under your own arrangements. Meet your tour escort in the
hotel lobby for a welcome aperitif and dinner at the hotel.
In the morning take an escorted tour of Vienna with a your local guide. The tour finishes at the
magnificent palace of Schonbrunn where you will have the opportunity to view the staterooms.
Afternoon is at your leisure for shopping and exploring in Vienna. In the evening transfer in a
private coach to Grinzing. Enjoy a typical Viennese Dinner at a local "Heuriger" with wine and
music included.

Day 4 |
Vienna - Danube Boat Ride - Salzburg |
After breakfast we depart for Salzburg. En route stop at Krems where you will board a
Danube steamer. for a river cruise to Melk. At Melk you will have time to visit the
famous Benedictine Abbey. Continue on your journey to Salzburg. After you have settled
in at a ****hotel and enjoy a special Mozart Dinner with music at St. Peters Stiftskeller.
In the morning there will be an unforgettable guided walking tour of Salzburg. Including a
visit to Mozart's birthplace. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner is on your
own.

Day 6 |
Salzburg - Berchtesgarden - Villach |
Today we leave Salzburg and travel to Berchesgarden where you will visit the spectacular
"Eagles Nest" -Hitler's summer residence. Afterwards enjoy a boatcruise on Lake Konigssee
famous for its "Echo" and Barthololmae chapel. In the afternoon your private coach will
take you to Villach. After checking in at your hotel, the rest of the afternoon and
evening is at your leisure. Dinner is on your own.

Day 7 |
Villach - Grosslockner - Innsbruck |
Depart Villach for Innsbruck. The first stop will be at the picture postcard village of
Heiligenblut. The scenic drive will then continue up to the top of the Grossglocknerpass,
one of Europe's most spectacular sightseeing experiences. At around 3,000 meters above
sea level and surrounded by snowcapped mountain peaks, a lunch stop will be mad (lunch
not included). After lunch depart for Innsbruck and check in ****hotel. The rest of the
day is at your leisure. Dinner is on your own.

Day 8 |
Innsbruck - Wattens - Innsbruck |
After breakfast take a city tour of Innsbruck including all the main sights. In the
afternoon take an excursion to Wattens for a visit to their Swarvoski Crystal Worlds.
In the evening enjoy a special Strauss concert, one of the highlights of this tour
(only in August). Dinner is on your own.

Day 9 |
Innsbruck - Neuschwanstein - Oberammergau - Innsbruck |
Full day excursion to mad Ludwig II fairy tale castle of "Neuschwanstein". Afterwards
travel to Oberammergau, where the world famous Passion Play is held every ten ears.
Out tour then continues onto Ettal and a visit to the Benedictine monastery. Return
to Innsbruck for a typical Tyrolean evening with folklore show and dinner. Overnight
in Hotel Innsbruck.
Following breakfast you will transfer to the airport for your flight back to the USA.
